Farms

For those who want to go right to the source for the freshest produce and food products nothing beats going right to the source. We can direct you to farms where you can select the items you want, see where they came from and even learn about the methods and the area from which they came. In some areas we can even get you into farms that you can stay at and in some even participate in the farming process. Some are set up as a B&B so start your day off with a breakfast grown on-site right where you are eating it. 

Markets

Usually where you have farms you can find markets. Some are small road stands with a few items produced right there or nearby. Others are large, indoor well established markets with many local vendors, sometimes more than just farm goods. These are great destinations for those seeking variety. These markets can bring many local producers under one roof. You can find produce, meat, cheeses, freshly prepared goods such as artisan breads, pies, even leather goods and handmade soaps and so much more. With our knowledge we can include the right ones on your itinerary.

The art of producing fine artisan goods is not gone, you just need to know where to find them. Sometimes they are right under your nose or in unexpected places. Let us do the work of mapping these out for you. There are so many adventures to be had for both young and old. Sitting with the crafter while they put the finishing touches on a leather belt, watching a glass vase being blown by hand, perhaps even learning to make your own piece yourself to take home. Some might want to watch cheese being made or chocolate being made and turned into all kinds of delights or you might want to sit and relax on a horse drawn ride around learning about the area. So many things to do. We will help you get started and plan it through to the finish.
